Thank you to all who showed an interest in the National Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards 2012/13. The standard of the submissions received was highly impressive, each presenting a unique account of the excellent and innovative work which is carried out every day in procurement across the UK.

The finalists in each category have been decided. All entries were reviewed by a judging panel made up of experts in UK procurement including John Collington, Chief Procurement Officer, Efficiency and Reform Group, Cabinet Office.

There will also be a finalist certificate presentation taking place ahead of the ceremony at the GO Live Keynote Arena, part of Procurex National 2012. By booking a place at the National GO Awards, finalists will be automatically registered to attend the Procurex event and will have the opportunity to network with the other finalists and also to hear from over 15 influential Keynote participants, including Francis Maude, Minister for the Cabinet Office and Paymaster General.
