The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) is one of the busiest exhibition centres in Europe, staging around 160 trade and consumer exhibitions each year, ranging from world-famous public shows such as Crufts and Clothes Show Live to huge international trade exhibitions such as IPEX, Spring Fair Birmingham, and now Procurex National 2012.
Over four million people visit The NEC each year. With 21 halls totalling 200,000m2 of exhibition space on a 650-acre site, it is also the largest exhibition centre in the UK.
In February 2006, on top of exhibition activity, it was estimated that over the previous thirty years, The NEC welcomed more than 90 million visitors, staged more than 2500 events and generated more than £20 billion for the regional economy.
