Procurex National 2021

The NEC Birmingham

Live Event Measures & Requirements

We can’t wait to welcome you to Procurex National 2021 featuring the UK Infrastructure Show.  Our number one priority is making sure your visit is as safe and as enjoyable as possible.

While the UK Government removed many restrictions on Monday 19th July 2021, we all still have a shared responsibility to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Therefore we will be running a COVID-secure event site.

To help keep all our event participants safe, all event attendees should be prepared to show one of the following on entry to the NEC, Birmingham, if requested by a member of staff:

  • Proof of a double vaccination (you must have received both doses 14 days prior to coming to the event)
  • Proof of negative in-date lateral flow test
  • Proof of natural immunity based upon a positive PCR test within 180 days of arrival at the venue (and after the 10-day self-isolation period following the result)

Attendees from England

You can order free lateral flow tests through the post here

We would advise that you take a lateral flow test a maximum of 24 hours before attending the event. You can upload your results here

Please have your proof of double vaccine (Blue card/vaccine pass) or email confirmation/text message of negative test result from the NHS ( https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result)

Attendees from Scotland

You can obtain your full vaccine status here

If you do not receive the letter in time, you will need to provide evidence of a negative NHS lateral flow test by reporting the result here and presenting your NHS email or text notification on entry.

Attendees from Wales

You can obtain your full vaccine status here

If you cannot access your NHS COVID Pass, you will need to provide evidence of a negative NHS lateral flow test by reporting the result here and presenting your NHS email or text notification on entry.

Attendees from Northern Ireland

You can provide proof of your double vaccine status here

Ticket holders from Northern Ireland will be required to provide evidence of a negative NHS lateral flow test by reporting the result here and presenting your NHS email or text notification on entry.

Face Coverings

While we can’t legally enforce the wearing of face coverings, we will ask our attendees to wear a face covering throughout their visit, unless they are medically exempt. Face coverings will also be available within the venue.

The event venue is equipped with excellent ventilation systems and we will continue with stringent hygiene and sanitation measures throughout the venue, as well as regular deep cleaning. We are encouraging all event participants to arrive in plenty of time, with doors opening from 0830. Extra staff will also be employed to help manage the flow and movement of all attendees.

We are hugely looking forward to welcoming you back to Procurex National featuring the UK Infrastructure Show.
